“Regardless weather you are a man or a woman, regardless of your particular situation in this Life, if you have faith, confidence and diligence, if you have compassion and wisdom, you can become Enlightened. If you have the necessary (conditions) qualities for Dharma Practice, the kind of body you have makes no difference at all. The reason for this total equality is the Nature of Mind itself, which is neither male nor female. There is no such thing as one person’s mind being better than some one else. On the ultimate level the clear empty and unimpeded Mind exhibits no limiting qualities such as maleness or femaleness, superiority or inferiority. If in Studying and practicing the Buddha’s Teaching, women understand what is being said they will reach Enlightenment. If men understand they will also reach Enlightenment.”
